Primarily I am a hands on Machinist with a diversified background in welding, drafting, machine operation, machine repair and metals fabrication.

From my farm and ranch origins in Montana, respect, trust, character and courtesy are forged into my bones. These ethics of hardworking entrepreneurship were born from my family origins and refined through a decade of 4-H experiences and earning the Eagle scout rank in my youth to appreciate the hard working spirit of the West.

I have aways taken a hands-on approach to getting things done and making things work. I hold an AAS in Metals Fabrication from Montana Tech where I dabbled with engineering/design work and running my own research project through the Undergrad Research Program for smog reduction in combustion engines.

I’ve worked in various engineering, R&D and manufacturing environments; from the coal mine rebuild shop in Wyoming to a R&D engineering lab in Seattle. When I relocated to the Spokane area, I really started pursing machining and worked in a metal casting machine shop, startup tech shop and high end production machine shop.

However I really was drawn to prototype machining at the startup tech shop, a special company(RADMAX Tech.) prototyping a new engine design. This special environment enabled me to float from the engineering design phase, to the manufacturing phase. and to the testing/application phase. By floating between these three phases I could really understand and influence the prototypes to help get them to the best state possible.

My goal is to provide a quality solution to a mechanical problem or concept.

When not at work or in my home shop, my family and I are skiing, biking, camping or off-roading in the great outdoors.
